After some confusion at my Disney Store, I was able to get the Nightmare Before Christmas Box set delivered to my house. For some reason on Tsum Tsum Tuesday, my Disney Store only had 5 of the box sets, unfortunately, I was number 6 in line. When I got to the counter, the cast member was able to order one for me online and I didn’t have to pay for the shipping since they ordered it at the store. Of course, when I went to get Sharon and Bucky, they had a ton of the box sets, so they definitely restocked.
Jack and Sally sport different faces than the original release, and the faces fill up more of the front of the Tsum Tsum which I really like. The Sandy Claws has the same bigger face and a toothy smile.
The mayor is a lot of fun, and his face is probably the most Burtonesque of the Tsum Tsums. My favorite touch is the mayor button on his side.
The Pumpkin King of Halloween Town is adorably creepy. The wood and pumpkin fabric is very soft and his tattered coat is done very well. Dr. Finklestein’s mouth reminds me of a duck’s bill, but the best part of this Tsum Tsum is that his head lifts up to reveal his brain.
He’s finally here! Oogie Boogie is ready to take over! He is the squishiest of this group, and the embroidered details are amazing. On one side you can find his lucky dice, and on the other side is a split seam with a couple of escaping creepy crawlers.
Santa, I know him, and now I have his Tsum Tsum! Honestly, it’s worth the entire box set just to have your very own Santa Tsum Tsum. His red velvet suit is perfect and adorned with the softest fur trimmings. He’s sweet, squishy and ready to deliver joy!
All in all, this is a really great box set that truly captures the essence of the movie. There are plenty of new details and fun characters to add to your collection. Pick this box set up at your local Disney Store or at www.disneystore.com.
